We know the middle of the workweek can be a drag (is it the weekend YET?). Well we refuse to let hump-day get us down. As part of our mission to promote bold politics and politicians, Bold Nebraska will call out our wimp of the week every Wednesday, henceforth to be known as “Wimp Wednesday.”
This week’s wimp is Nebraska’s Senator Johanns. With financial reform facing a cloture vote sometime tomorrow, Johanns is still siding with the party of “no.” Johanns has promised to vote against reform, thus siding with institutions that caused the 2008 meltdown.
Voting against the little guy and for big money? You gotta wonder why Johanns can’t be bold and stand up to Wall Street?
That’s why Johanns is our Wednesday Wimp.
Tweet @SenMikeJohanns, tell him he is a wimp for not standing up to Wall Street. Tell him to be bold and vote for reform!
