On Nov. 24, TransCanada filed a motion asking the Nebraska Public Service Commission to reconsider its Nov. 20 ruling that rejected the company’s “preferred” route for its proposed Keystone XL pipeline, and instead mandated the company instead utilize the “Mainline Alternative” route further east near its existing Keystone 1 pipeline (which just leaked 200,000+ gallons in South Dakota).
In response, landowners’ attorneys with Domina Law Group filed a motion asking the PSC to hear Oral Arguments on TransCanada’s motion, and also filed their own Motion to Reconsider.
Landowners’ attorney Dave Domina responded to TransCanada’s filings on Twitter:
TransCanada must see challenges too great to surmount. .asks Neb PSC to reconsider denial of Preferred Neb Route. #KXL is a bad idea. Ask S.D. PUC after huge leak up there. Its far from built. pic.twitter.com/QHAu1Y4aQ0

Many challenges ahead for KXL pipeline. TransCanada’s filing today for PSC reconsideration strongly suggests the Company knows this fact. #NoKXL
