- Grove Lake Wildlife Management Area: Just outside of Royal, Nebraska — located 20 miles from Neligh. Campsites are available with restrooms and drinking water but no electric hook-ups.

TaHaZouka Park: Season April 15-October 15. Park amenities: bathhouse, electricity,playground, trout fishing, ball fields, shelters, 24 court horseshoe complex, sand volleyball, and 4 cabins for rent (daily use only).In the off-season campers may park outside the campground along the road and plug into the power pedestals at a reduced rate.
