Landowners’ attorney Brian Jorde with Domina Law Group will provide a legal update, and answer questions from landowners who were recently served eminent domain condemnation lawsuits from TransCanada. Bold’s Jane Kleeb and Tom Genung from the Nebraska Easement Action Team (NEAT) will also discuss the State Department’s new draft Environmental Impact Statement for KXL, and give folks the opportunity to write and mail-in NoKXL public comments before the deadline on Nov. 18th. After we break for a community lunch, we’ll also provide a “Know Your Rights” training produced in conjunction with the ACLU of Nebraska and other partners.
