In response to TransCanada filing condemnation claims against Nebraska landowners, seeking to use “eminent domain” to seize their land against their will for its proposed Keystone XL tarsands export pipeline, Bold Nebraska responded:

There is simply no technical way, given the winter is coming soon — and no political way this pipeline will ever be built,” said Jane Kleeb, founder of Bold Nebraska. “Every major Democratic candidate is against the pipeline and would reverse Trump’s abuse of power, and there are three federal lawsuits still challenging the pipeline as well.”

We understand from local landowners that TransCanada is now also trying to re-route the pipeline to avoid the Tanderup Farm and Ponca Nation land because they do not want to have formal consultation with a Tribal Nation, showing yet again what corrupt cowards the Big Oil corporation has always been,” added Kleeb.
