On September 20, three days before the UN Climate Summit in NYC, young people and adults will strike all across the U.S. and world to demand transformative action be taken to address the climate crisis.
Millions of us will take the streets to demand a right to a future, and we’re inviting you to
#StrikeWithUs and join the events being planned by youth organizers in Nebraska.
Next Friday in Omaha, organizers with the Omaha Students Union will rally folks on the steps of Omaha City Hall from 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m., while in Lincoln, Sustain UNL is organizing a march from campus to the Nebraska State Capitol at 3:00 p.m. At Doane University in Crete, folks will rally at the Caswell Outdoor Theatre at 10:00 a.m., and in Kearney folks will rally holding #ClimateStrike signs near the Kearney Library off 2nd & Railroad St at 10:00 a.m.
