July 31

Conor Oberst and Omaha promoters have organized the Concert For Equality featuring Saddle Creek Records acts like Bright Eyes, Cursive, Lullaby for the Working Class and a reunited Desaparecidos. The concert will benefit the ACLU’s fight against Fremont’s new law.

Tickets are SOLD OUT.

If you are lucky enough to have a tix, we got a facebook message from a fellow activist Nick Delman encouraging everyone to wear a shirt that represents their ancestor’s country.  We think it is a great idea.  We’re a nation of immigrants — let’s show it.

Action:

Nebraska Appleseed will be there collecting names of people who want to get active on this issue, so make sure you stop by their booth (in your cool-looking, family-heritage shirt).
