Bold Nebraska’s Jane Kleeb will be in Washington, DC on Thursday to attend a press conference with residents of Mayflower, Arkansas who were victims of Exxon’s pipeline spill there. While the event is being held in DC, Jane will be available to connect with local Nebraska press for phone interviews with herself and Arkansas families.

Arkansas Spill Victims Coalesce to Stop Keystone XL, Appeal to Secretary Kerry

Remember Mayflower Coalition Travels to DC, State Department

Washington – Two Mayflower, Arkansas residents who were victims of Exxon’s Good Friday tar sands spill that coated their neighborhood in toxic tar sands are traveling to DC to appeal to Secretary Kerry to stop Keystone XL. The residents, members of the “Remember Mayflower, Arkansas” Coalition, are in DC to deliver a letter to the Secretary that asks him to come visit Mayflower and view their devastation first-hand before making a decision on Keystone XL.

The Remember Mayflower Coalition will be joined by Jane Kleeb, Executive Director of Bold Nebraska and member of the “All Risk, No Reward” Coalition.
