Consider purchasing cream and cheese products from Branched Oak Farm at Open Harvest and Hub Café in Lincoln, or visit the farm and pick up raw milk, cream, and cheese. While you’re there, purchase a cured Easter ham from Happy Hogs or schedule a delivery. Just down the road, Davey Road Ranch has grass-fed beef roasts, and Bluff Valley Farm in Rulo, Nebraska, has lamb. You’ll find these farms and more at Lone Tree Foods where you can also purchase fresh local produce and other products. And you can find fresh local bread at the Grain Bin Bakery in Lincoln.
Next month, Bold Nebraska will launch an exciting new project called “Made in the Neb” that will highlight businesses, clean energy projects, and small farmers in Nebraska that support five objectives Bold is working toward to help make Nebraska a great place to live and work. We want our interactive map to be the go-to website for your local and organic food and sustainable business needs.
