Bold Nebraska director Jane Kleeb appeared on MSNBC’s “The Ed Show” on Tuesday, Dec. 9 to discuss ardent Keystone XL pipeline advocate Sen. Mary Landrieu’s (D-LA) defeat in Saturday’s run-off election.

“When you cheerlead for Keystone XL, whether you’re [recently defeated incumbent] Rep. Lee Terry or Senator Landrieu — you’re going to get the boot,” said Kleeb. “People do not want to see Big Oil destroying our land and water, and increasing carbon pollution.”

“Backing Big Oil hurts the environment, and it doesn’t earn you one extra vote,” added Ed Schultz.

Jane also calls on the EPA to provide updated data on the climate impact of Keystone XL to the U.S. State Dept., and urges more Americans to send Pres. Obama a #NOKXL pen to use to sign Keystone XL’s permit rejection letter .
