With less than two weeks left in the year, we want to make sure our local and national politicians know that Nebraskans will not let the toxic TransCanada pipeline cross our land and water. And we’re sending the message in classic Bold-style.

We’re bringing a couple of special friends to tell Governor Heineman, “Don’t be a mean one.” Cindy Lou Who and the Grinch are delivering presents asking Heineman to protect the Aquifer, honor our families’ legacies and turn the route review over to the PSC. You can join them on Chritsmas Eve at Noon at the Governor’s Mansion in Lincoln. Click here for details.

Then, on February 17th, we’ll be joining thousands of pipeline fighters in DC to remind President Obama that we need him to do the right thing for our land, water and health by rejecting the pipeline. We are forming a human pipeline with “oil spill” panels made by you. Click here for details.

Our collective fight against this export pipeline is not possible without your continued support. The best way you can help right now is by donating to help carry out the actions we have planned for Heineman and Obama.

When we started organizing opposition to the Keystone XL pipeline almost three years ago, people told us it was a done deal and would be in the ground by this Christmas. Well, there’s still no pipeline, and our movement to protect our land, water and property rights is still going strong. Reporters, like Inside Climate News yesterday on the leak detection system, also continue to dig into the truth and show that the more folks learn about this toxic pipeline, the more they are committed to fight it.

2013 will be a pivotal year for the pipeline. Governor Heineman will review the just-as-dangerous pipeline reroute in January, and we’re expecting President Obama to make a final decision on the toxic Keystone XL’s fate, possibly in March.

Our creative, people-driven actions have consistently made the difference for our side on the pipeline fight.

Please help us keep the effort going strong by donating today to send a message to Governor Heineman or President Obama.

Thank you so much for your continued support. None of this would be possible without you. You are Bold.

P.S.: Our goal is to send at least 25 Nebraskans and 50 “oil spill” panels to Washington, DC. Donate today to help us reach our goal and send a strong statement from Nebraskans to President Obama.
