Crop art protest of the Keystone XL pipeline.
The Cowboy and Indian Alliance created a crop art image, the size of 80 football fields, to send President Obama a message to protect the Heartland by rejecting the Keystone XL tarsands pipeline.

*UPDATE: We need folks for a couple more days of Crop Art:

  • Tuesday, May 12: 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
  • Wednesday, May 13: 9:00 a.m. – 5r:00 p.m.

We decided to send a little “bat signal” from the land in honor of the President and to bring his spirit to the Tanderup farm, which is located on the Ponca Trail of Tears and where TransCanada wants to bury their risky Keystone XL pipeline. (Click here to learn about the creation of the original #NOKXL Crop Art installation.)

Bring a water bottle you can fill, sunscreen, work gloves and a rain coat!
