Invitation to Meet During Visit to Nebraska

Omaha — Bold Nebraska issued the following response to media reports that Governor Pete Ricketts rejected an invitation from President Obama to meet during the President’s historic visit to Omaha on Wednesday.

“Gov. Ricketts is not the Republican Chair, he is our state’s Governor. Maybe after spending so much time in Chicago, Ricketts forgot how to be Nebraska Nice,” said Jane Kleeb, Bold Nebraska director.
