A public hearing is set for Friday, Feb. 28 for the Holt County Board (1:30 p.m.) to consider TransCanada’s application (see below) for a KXL construction permit, which has already been recommended for DENIAL by a 7-1 vote of the county zoning board.

At the hearing, the Holt County Board of Supervisors will permit testimony from landowners and members of the public who have concerns about TransCanada’s proposed Keystone XL pipeline and its construction and impacts.

Landowners are also invited to attend a lunchtime gathering before the public hearing at the Knights of Columbus hall. (Lunch will be served.)
