We can stop the KXL pipeline with one election.

Bold supporters can stop the KXL pipeline by electing one more member to the Nebraska Public Service Commission (PSC) who is against the Keystone XL pipeline.

There are two seats on the Commission up for grabs in the upcoming election, in District 1 (View district map: Lancaster (Lincoln), Cass, Gage, Johnson, Nemaha, Otoe, Pawnee, Richardson counties) and District 3 (View district map: Douglas (West Omaha), Sarpy, Saunders, Washington counties).

The risky pipeline route still threatens property rights, treaty rights, climate, the Sandhills and the Ogallala Aquifer. When you vote by mail, it means you are taking a step to elect a PSC Commissioner who cares about our land and water.

Many Bold supporters are Nonpartisan, which is great news because this year, the Nebraska Democratic Party is allowing Nonpartisan voters to cast a ballot in the Party’s Primary Elections.

This is critical, because the PSC race is a partisan race—so even the Bold supporters who are Nonpartisan can cast a ballot for the Democratic candidate who has stated their opposition to KXL—all you have to do is check the “Democratic” ballot request box on your Vote By Mail Application under the “**For Nonpartisans ONLY” section.

May 4th is the last day the Vote By Mail Application can arrive to your county election office, so type your info into the form online, (or just download, print and fill it out by hand), then mail it back in to your County Election Office today!

Critical Note: The Nebraska Democratic Party allows Independents to vote in their primaries. If you are a Nonpartisan voter, just check the “Democratic” ballot request box under the “**For Nonpartisans ONLY” section so you can vote for a #NoKXL candidate in the PSC primary election.

Look for your County Election Office and address your Vote By Mail Application letter to that office:
