BOLD Contributor, Tammy Hansen Snell: Tammy is a native Nebraskan and writer with an interest in encouraging people to explore how much positive impact they can have on the world around them. She has worked as a reporter, news anchor, columnist, and is currently a patient advocate. She lives near North Platte with her husband, Ron Snell, with whom she has explored the state in some detail, including a 1000-mile walk they did together in 2005.
