The first survey asking Nebraskans key questions about the proposed TransCanada pipeline shows that by a margin of 2 to 1, Nebraskans oppose the pipeline.

The poll commissioned by Bold Nebraska, in partnership with Nebraska Wildlife Federation and the Nebraska Sierra Club, additionally shows an overwhelming majority of Nebraskans want their elected leaders to be asking more questions, passing stronger state regulations and releasing an Emergency Response Plan for oil spills.

The survey informed Nebraskans on the details of the proposed pipeline and then asked a series of questions.

Full results of the poll will be made public on Tuesday.
