Bold Nebraska is participating in a national day of action on Sept. 21 organized by our friends at 350.org. There will be more than 100 events across the country where citizens will Draw the Line against Keystone XL.

It just so happens that on Saturday, Sept. 21, the day of Draw the Line, we’ll be out in York, Nebraska, building a renewable energy-powered barn in the path of the pipeline.

In addition to the Build Our Energy barn, over 50 billboards with messages opposing the pipeline featuring quotes from Pres. Obama and Gov. Heineman will be painted on site at the barn, and placed with landowners along the proposed KXL proposed route. The billboards will figure in a group photo with the barn that will be featured as part of 350.org’s Draw the Line day of action.

Join us to Draw the Line against Keystone XL in Nebraska on Sept. 21. We’ll be taking the group photo at 10:00 a.m.

You can swing a hammer, paint a billboard, and be in the photo for 350’s day of action. Click here to sign-up.
