Editors Note: what the small towns really need are donations. Let’s keep showing support for the volunteers and families who have lost homes and cattle. (update on Aug. 3)

The drought has hit north central Nebraska hard. Wildfires are cutting across the Sandhills, fragile prairie land and cattle country. You can help by donating money or supplies. Many folks have asked if this is near the proposed pipeline route, the answer unfortunately is yes. One more major risk.

Supplies Needed (*donating money is more helpful at this time*):

  • Sugar Free Items (not many)
  • Toilet Paper
  • Paper Towels
  • Fig Newton Snack Packs
  • Pop (Mt. Dew & Diet Pop)
  • NO MORE CLALMINE LOTION OR BUG SPRAY

Donate Money:

All donations are tax-deductible and will go to help support crews on scene as well as rebuilding efforts for those affected by the fire.
