The Cowboy and Indian Alliance visited Secretary of State John Kerry’s house on Thursday morning, and held an interfaith prayer ceremony aimed at providing Sec. Kerry the strength and courage to uphold his status as a climate warrior and tell Pres. Obama to reject the Keystone XL pipeline.

Speakers included Sundance Chief Rueben George, of the Tsleil-Waututh First Nation (pictured above, photo by ©Garth Lenz / iLCP), and representatives of many faiths.

Nebraskan Donna Roller penned a heartfelt and powerful letter about her concerns with the Keystone XL pipeline to all of Nebraska’s representatives in Congress, which was published in the York News-Times on Friday.  Donna also trudged through the rain on Friday to personally hand-deliver her letter — along with a “moral” compass — to the Congressional offices of Rep. Lee Terry, and Senators Deb Fischer and Mike Johanns. Read Donna’s full letter below.
