This won’t be your typical lecture. The Do the Math tour--coming to Omaha on Dec. 1st--will be unique and an interactive experience, unlike any talk you’ve been to before. It will pick up where Bill McKibben’s landmark Rolling Stone article left off. Together we are strong enough to stand up to the fossil fuel industry influence on our politicians, land, water and air.
Get your ticket for the Dec. 1st event: http://www.eventbrite.com/event/4534131710

The Nebraska Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) released the TransCanada Pipeline Draft Report and scheduled the public hearing for Dec. 4th in Albion. As a reminder, there is still an active lawsuit on the DEQ process, you can read more about the lawsuit here. The route is still too risky for the Sandhills and the Aquifer. Land rights, oil spill response plans, liability and many other concerns have not been addressed.

Update, 11/12: Over 100 Nebraskans came to the photo shoots or sent us pictures. You can see them on Facebook or Flickr. We are using these photos to send to the President and will also use them around a national rally outside the White House on Nov. 18th.
You do not need to be in DC for the event on Nov. 18th, you can join online. Take the pledge to stand in the way of KXL.
